Underground Vignettes

This collection of images is a visual diary of my commute with fellow New Yorkers on the subway. Some are daydreaming, some are transfixed, and some are communing with each other as they journey between the boroughs underground. These images are digitally created with a tintype style app, which is reminiscent of the early 1860s process that produced a positive image on a varnished metal plate.
